The Apostle Paul says that self control should be a natural result of living by the Holy Spirit. Yet, it can be so hard! In a world that encourages indulgences and says “speak your mind,” it can feel like we’re fighting a losing battle.
But the same Holy Spirit that convicts us of our sin also gives us the power to withstand temptation and to exercise self-control, for our own good and for the glory of God.
